HEY! your buddy teriva here!!!
i was thinking about the game while listening to some awesome music when i came with an idea....
even though it was problobly asked for before so im going to spice it up
we should make a movie!! like we could record ourselves doing specific things like looking out the window of the sky monster and drive into the "launching pads" or like haveing a HIGH SPEED chase with like a jet chaseing a buggy or buggy vs. buggy and like the buggy thats CHASEING is shooting at the buggy fleeing! that scene would be prefered on the dudes level's valley( i forgot the name of level) AND IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE FIGHTING/ACTION! so you cant say its against the rules of the forum and game so there.ha. :P
EDIT: we COULD make some hars explorer installment series movies...just an idea

as listed below and stuff flyclub, we have someone who can record and we also need a script
we make scenes and put them together...with a pinch of special effects that i could do :)

Edit: whoops didn't see the posts above, srry lol. Yes that is a very great idea! except i only have screenflow demo and it has the watermark on it so i wouldn't be much help lol

I like the idea, but when I was brainstorming ideas when i thought of the exact same idea for a buggy vs buggy chase, i ran into an overall problem: sound. I'm pretty sure Martians are not gonna do voices in a movie, and using chat is just amateurish. If you can get it to work though, I would be happy to help.

I can do recording and editing!
I use iMovie (for editing) and Screenium! (for recording)

Ok Teriva,
If this is gonna happen, you'll need to come up with a good storyline.
If you can't, I'd suggest asking Picard for a good storyline. He's great at that kind of stuff.
We'll have to get our hands on a script, hire some actors, find someone who can edit and a camera man.
I have a screen recording program, but I'd rather be a actor.
If anyone wants, I can show them how to get the full version of the program I'm using. For FREE.
It's quite simple. Just download the program, go on YouTube and look up "How to get Screenium for free"
They will give you a code to type in when you first start up Screenium, and you'll have the full version!
But if you get JUST the free version, it's the same, but you can only record up to 30 sec.
And, Screenium videos take up a LOT of space. I once made a video about 13 min. long, and it took up 14 GB!
So if someone is going to use Screenium, they'll have to have a BIG hard-drive to record a movie!
I'll be an actor, if that's OK.
Remember, if you can't come up with a good storyline, ask Picard. And don't make it just really actiony, it has to have a good plot to go with it! That's what makes a good movie.
Whoever writes it, just give me a copy of the script. I wanna look it over.

It was probably such a large file you recorded because you didn't change the compression settings before you started recording. Somewhere along the first screen that is loaded, there will be some type of option, with the default selected being "Uncompressed". Set that to compressed or whatever other otion there is before recording.
P.S. Sorry I couldn't give more details besides "some type" and "whatever". I'm on vacation with no way of accessing my iMac ;)

OMAP GOOD IDEA!! Icanhelpifyouwant! I can edit! I got Final Cut Express and FCP but I think pro might not get installed till later this year :( and an oldish but good version of iMovie. Or record! (iShowU with no watermark it can record internal audio as well) BUT I think I'd have more time for the editing than the recording depending on what time everyone gets together and stuff

Eh, this sounds kinda like one of those kiddy hot-wheels cartoons. No offence, I'm actually all for the idea, it's a good one. Lemme know if you start it, I'd love to help you out.
