Yes, but that is in the far future. If this is to happen, it needs a story mode, more vehicles and worlds, more multiplayer modes, etc.

No, not mine, mine has swordfighting in it, and Aubrey specifically said that there shall be no killing of humanoid characters in the game.  It's a thought to use the story's though...

I agree, but it's a great Idea. If I'm correct, Unity only supports the IPhone, IPod Touch, IPad, Mac, Windows, and Wii, but I wouldn't be surprised if they add support for the XBox, PS2/3, PSP, DS, etc.

P.S. The Picture looks great! how did you put the buggy, tank, hovercraft, and jet in there. All I can think of is to mask out the whole vehicle in Photoshop from a picture taken in-game! :)

Requested many times before, and explained many times before.
Unity does not support any gaming console except Wii, and Aubrey himself has rejected the idea more than once.

Thread hidden appropriately due to a repeat request that has been denied several times in the past.

If I get this for my PS3,
and my soon to get, Xbox360,
Im going to use Xbox Live/PS3 Network, and Im going to add all you guys!!
Ideas:
Campaign: Go through important events and missions in campaign mode.
Storyline: As B-man said, we could borrow on or Oaky's or picards fan fics and use it or a custom made story line about landing on Mars.
Multiplayer:Play with a friend on co-op mission mode, elimination, CTF, and racing through GTR's Desert.
Versus (Online): Play online with real people and friends in a original way of quarry vs. everyone that wants quarry.
Credits: To the producers, editors, animators, blah blah blah and special acknowledgment to Aubrey for making the game for computer.

Xbox support, now that is pretty amazing.

Why not now, as a Wii game, perhaps with a classic controller, or some unknown method to me.  (steering and aiming would be a problem)

Unity can currently support Wii

anyway, Xbox support is great news

the only question I have is how would you aim and move at the same time with wii controls?

stick to move motion sensor to aim?

I'm thinking you steer with the nunchuck, and aim and point with the Wii remote, and press A to shoot, B to open and close wings, Z for Brakes, etc.

Xorb races!  Make specific racetracks for the Xorbs, and use the balance board/tilt the Wiimote/left joystick.  Make it an actual race mode, with the laps counter and position thing and all.  Wait, that would make for an epic dramatic chase in a single-player mode.  Rolling away from an avalanche, down a mountain.  That'd be cool.

I got it!  For Xbox 360 and PS3 (buttony controllers) put in a 3-d radar thingy.  It detects a sphere around you and if a vehicle is above you, it shows an up arrow on the radar.  If below, a down arrow.  If about the same height, than a blip. This way, the player can get a warning and turn the camera.  This would probably be a multiplayer thing, though.

BASIC CONTROLS
For actual controls (Xbox 360/PS3) left analog to steer, right analog to aim/move camera, right far trigger to shoot, left far trigger to switch modes (for the jet, hover mode/flight mode and for the buggy, driving mode/flight mode).  For added camera rotation, the close triggers could be used to rotate the camera 90 degrees left or right, respectively.

MULTIPLAYER CONTROLS
Now, at least in multiplayer, the right set of 4 buttons (A,B,X,Y or x, circle, square, triangle) could be used to switch vehicles in the spawn points.  One button would be one vehicle, one would be another, and so on.  To maintain the host's abilities, when the left analog stick is rolled in a circle quickly, the server settings pops up.  From here, they can modify the vehicle characteristics and level characteristics, just like the system currently happening on Mars.  With a roll of the right analog stick, a menu pops up with all the players in the game, with two options: first, a "warn" button to tell them that they're pushing their luck in the server.  Second, a "kick" button.  This button boots them out of the game, and prevents them from joining that game for, oh, five minutes or ten minutes.

SINGLE PLAYER CONTROLS
Now here's an open slate.  I'm throwing out an idea for a single player mode here, so these controls adhere to that mode.  For single player, you choose a vehicle (or are forced to one vehicle, whatever the plot demands) and battle through the first few levels.  later into the game, allies pop up.  Now you have command of these guys, and you have a group to command.  In the pause menu, you assign different units (groups, individuals, types of vehicles, whatever you think best) to the right four keys (a, b, x, y, or x, o, square, triangle).  Also in the pause menu, you assign commands to the arrows on the left side of the controller.  You can choose up to mean charge and fire, left to mean hold fire, right to mean open fire, down to mean follow me, etc.  The people you command may be main characters to the plot, and therefore you can have a wider variety of situations happening and still be able to pitch in some meaningful conversations even in the middle of a battle.  Now you can fight a war, not just a long series of skirmishes.

PLOT
Gee, so much can be done.  I might try (fail) at writing a plotline, but that's for a later comment.

So that's what I think the controls would be like.  If you read the whole thing, pat yourself on the back.
