A little too much speed and accel but WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S AWESOME!!! It really relieves my Need 4 Speed!

Cool! I remeber seeing some older comments on other race buggys about a jump feature. Was this possible?

He said it's very possible, but no need for MORE vehicles. EVERY race buggy version is only available on a mapf of my choice that I made to keep it fair. Plus it WILL NOT and NEVER WILL have wings. Sorry little buddy, you can't fly, but you can scorch the ground :D

I pick 10 people worthy of handling it maturely. If there are more, then I may give out more. But this is not allowed to noobs, only regular race buggies :) Yes they will call it their own.

I may give out even more than 10!!! Of course, this machine almost drives itself, btu when the time comes, you need to learn how to control it :) (Like on a track)

I know you said that the regular race buggy will be available in certain tracks, but what about people who 'own' one. will they be able to use it anywhere as long as their not noobs about it?

Also... I think it should have some force downwards on the track, kind of like a wing on the back of some vehicles... just a suggestion.

Agreed Babag.  Perhaps this could be a feature earned.  Like getting a high score, or being on Mars for a certain time.  Or perhaps a player reccomendation.  Some way it can be earned by all if they work for it.

Yes! Exactly. I always felt uneasy about hand selecting people. Plus it will only be available on my maps. No where else. Could you guys help me work out a fair policy?

Here's my opinion.  You GTR, give out 10 or a couple buggy's to some very well known players.  That have at least been with us since oh, 1.9.8  That's your start.  Then, to get a buggy, you have to

 

A) Been on Mars for at least 1 month

 

B) get two players to support you

 

C) Not have a recent record of known spamming on Mars repediatly of late.  i.e. no spamming Mars repediatly for the past say, month.

Well, sounds like a fair policy, but I'd change the 1.9 policy to ''been with us for 1-2 months.''

 

Also... this is just IMO... but I think it'd be nice if it was available on all maps.

As long as the players with the special buggys are willing to share it constantly and the sharing feature could be made, I think everyone else would be fine.

Amazing detailing with that paint, GTR! I said on the last race buggy post that the body didn't fit together or make sense. Turns out all it needed was a new paint job to be the best looking vehicle of any kind in a while.

P.S. Why not give the buggy at least originally to people who helped a lot on the design?

I'm surprised on how well it was designed to automatically face forward! I know it was built to do that, but STILL! I go backwards very slowly and it immediately turns around. GREAT JOB GTR!

Hi GTR, beautiful model you got there however I have to agree with some that any sort of favoritism just ain't quite right. Let me quote you below okay? I think that part of you knows that singling people out for special vehicles is questionable. I am NOT here to give you a hard time, only to express my opinion that this is a public game and public site and thererfore I ask you to share and share alike or at least keep stuff like this amongst your "chosen few that are worthy" in private. Thanks.

I still think there should be something that happens when you click the space bar. I know that there will be no wings, but wings is what gets me out of tight spots in the terrain. Maybe a 'jump/bounce' feature, or 3-5 second glide, or maybe even a faster reset time?

Only on worlds certified for the race buggy (Purely for racing ONLY. NOTHING else.) Of course regular buggies will be allowed as well.

When Syn3th rolls around, there should be racing modes that lack the quarry.

I've been playing this game for a long time.  Granted, i've seen from the time that the buggy was the only vehicle and the freestyle was the only level, but I haven't pitched into Mars Explorer or Syn3h, as it will be called.  I personally think that these buggies should be a reward to whoever helps Mars/Syn3h become what it should be.  I know that if that happened, I would never receive this sort of reward due to my lack in graphical rendering, vehicle design, level design, or programming expertise, but giving people a cause to help would improve on Mars massively.

 

In short, I know I have no chance/next to no chance of getting one of these, and you probably won't just hand them out randomly, so maybe you should give them to people who truly deserve the reward.

Dude, GTR, it's awesome but it dosent turn as sharp as the buggy and it loses control if your going at a high speed then put it in reverse and turn but other than that its great! (btw it still flips but not as much as the regular buggy so BOO YA)
