Its definitely not you.. What's frustrating is that the ingredients are all there.... the players, for the most part, still play. But all they do now is talk.

 

And complain.

 

And talk.

 

And not play.

I personally was shocked by the decreasing number of players too.  Mars Explorer is a great community so I don't blame the conversations.  Maybe people were getting excited with the new worlds and updates that they played very frequently.  Now that the version has been sitting in 2.22 and few worlds have been appearing for awhile, a lot of the players may have gotten bored.  If you think about it, the game is a simple game that requires a more experienced player to use it to it's full capacity.  A lot of these newer players may have been bored and just stopped playing.

I just got a PS3 a few months ago, so I've been playing that instead.  That's why I've not been on the game.  And I'm too lazy to install it again...  :P

If I don't see anyone online that I care about, I just don't play.

I would love to play a decent game although I'm away most f the day/night. Also if everyone wasn't always NC I could actually play a game of real mars.

I have taken the summer off... but I will resume playtime every weekend for 2 hours. Hosting my own server.... starting August 15, 2010 on Sundays from 6-8 PM Central Standard Time.

I just gave up.

Frankly, the Winter season is just better for gaming. I also wanted a break.

I could pretend there are no mods, but then I'd still have to deal with the complaints of having a double standard from anytime someone else gets a post hidden.
