WOW! thats all i can say, WOW!!
just to let you know you said"thats all I can say"wich is saying somthing.
No downloads yet - believe me, there is still tons to be done. :-)
But I am planning on having Mars Racer in the app store before the end of this month - even if it isn't totally feature complete.
It looks like the buggy has no gravity... Oh and was that a level I made? It looks some how familiar.....
The buggy's physics - though simplified a bit to make it easier on the iPhone's processor - are very similar to the current 1.9 Mars Explorer. The camera logic is a simplified combination of all the different desktop cameras, which makes the handling "look" a bit different until you get accustomed to it.
The level featured in this video is a brand new one that I designing to be a full featured volcano climb with as few polygons as possible. The iPhone has nowhere near the rendering capabilities as a desktop computer, so I have to make everything tremendously optimized to ensure the game runs smoothly.
I have been analyzing it for a while, I can see that the camera rotation dampening has bee brought down..... Did you change the smooth follow script or did you change the variables? just curios. Other then the some what sickening feel of no gravity it looks great.... lol.

does this mean you can download the i-phone version now?!?!
