What does a fractional CTO do?
I provide senior technical leadership on a part-time basis. We agree on the decisions and responsibilities you need help with, whether that means a focused assessment, ongoing advice, or leading product and engineering work.
Are you hands-on?
Yes. I inspect architecture, review technical work, and work directly with engineers. That keeps my recommendations grounded in what the team can build and operate.
Can you work alongside our CTO or VP of Engineering?
Yes. We define responsibilities together so the team knows who owns each decision. I can provide an independent review, help through a transition, or take on a specific area of work.
Can you help us hire a permanent technical leader?
Yes. I can help define the role, assess candidates’ technical and leadership experience, and plan the handover. My aim is to find the person the team needs for its next stage.
